Induction cookers come in commercial and home forms. How do they differ? See below.

What is commercial induction?
Built for restaurants, hotels, enterprises, schools, military kitchens, and flame-restricted sites such as basements, railways, ships, and malls. Higher power and faster heating with energy, eco, safety, and comfort benefits—same principle as home units, different engineering.
Key differences:
1. Power
Commercial units often reach about 3–30+ kW on 380 V and need breakers above 3000 W by code. Home units stay under about 3000 W on 220 V.
2. Appearance
Home units are compact and colorful; commercial units are larger, stainless, and built for safety and practicality.
3. Controls
Home: simple buttons or touch. Commercial: remote wired buttons, touch, or magnetic sliders away from the top—water- and stain-resistant.
4. Quality
Commercial industrial-grade parts support long continuous duty—often 10+ years. Home units are sized for roughly 2–3 hours a day.
Choose by venue, power, and materials for the duty you need.
