A commercial water boiler is the unsung workhorse of every restaurant, café, tea shop and hotel kitchen. Staff need instant boiling water for tea, coffee, blanching vegetables, preparing stock, and sanitising utensils — hundreds of times per shift. The CHINENG 8129 series spans 30 to 210 litres per hour across standard and insulated models, with a choice of simple analogue dial control or digital temperature display. All units connect to a standard municipal water line and deliver boiling water on demand.

1. Two Series: Standard vs. Insulated

The difference is thermal efficiency and standby power consumption.

Standard Series

Insulated Series

Insulation

Standard body — heat loss during standby

Double-wall insulated body — retains temperature

Best for

Continuous operation: canteens, hotels with all-day service

Intermittent use: tea shops, cafés, breakfast buffets

Energy saving

Best when boiler runs continuously

Saves approximately 20–30% energy for intermittent operation

Both series share identical output capacities (30–210 L/h), power ratings (3–21 kW) and voltage options (220 V for 3–6 kW, 380 V for 6 kW and above). The interior tank and electronic control board carry a 1-year warranty; consumable components carry a 6-month warranty.

2. Output Sizing: 30 to 210 L/h

All 8129 models connect to a standard municipal water supply at 0.1–0.6 MPa. The water output rate is the key sizing parameter — match it to your peak-hour demand, not your daily average.

A practical guideline: one cup of tea or coffee requires approximately 200–250 mL of boiling water. A 60 L/h boiler therefore supports approximately 240–300 cups per hour. For a busy dim sum restaurant where every table requires multiple pots of tea, a 120 L/h unit is the minimum recommended capacity.

3. Analogue Dial vs. Digital Display

Each output capacity is available in two control configurations:

· Analogue dial (ZZ series): Simple rotary temperature control. No display. Boils to a preset temperature and maintains it. Best for kitchens where staff need a basic, robust unit that requires no training to operate. Lower purchase cost.

· Digital display (SX series): LED temperature readout with push-button control. The boiler can be set to a specific temperature — useful for operations that require water at different temperatures for different tasks: 95°C for tea, 85°C for coffee, 70°C for sanitisation. Slightly higher purchase cost, offset by reduced energy waste from precise temperature targeting.

4. Installation, Filter & Stand

· Water connection: Standard 0.8 m inlet hose included. Connects to any municipal water line at 0.1–0.6 MPa pressure. No pump required — the boiler operates on line pressure.

· Electrical: 3–6 kW models: 220 V single phase with standard 16 A plug. 6–21 kW models: 380 V three phase. All units include a 1.5 m power cable with appropriate connector.

· Optional filter: A 3-stage filter cartridge (CN-KSQLX-8129-3) is available for areas with hard water or sediment. The filter protects the heating element and extends service intervals. Replace every 3–6 months depending on usage and water quality.

· Optional stand: Two stand sizes: a 445×415×455 mm stand for 30–60 L/h models, and a 550×510×610 mm stand for 90 L/h and above. The stand raises the boiler to a comfortable operating height and provides a stable base. Sold separately.

5. FAQ

Q: How long does it take to reach boiling temperature from cold?

The 3 kW model reaches boiling in approximately 8–10 minutes from cold. The 6 kW model in 5–7 minutes. The 9 kW and above models in 3–5 minutes. The insulated series retains temperature for longer during idle periods — the boiler cycles on for shorter durations to maintain temperature, reducing overall energy consumption.

Q: Can the boiler run continuously during service?

Yes. All 8129 models are designed for continuous commercial operation. As water is drawn, the inlet valve automatically refills the tank and the heating element brings the incoming cold water to temperature. The output rate (30–210 L/h) is the continuous draw rate — the boiler will produce this volume of boiling water every hour without interruption.

Q: What maintenance is required?

The 3-stage filter cartridge should be replaced every 3–6 months depending on water hardness. The exterior is wiped down with standard kitchen detergent. The interior tank is self-cleaning under normal operation — the boiling process kills bacteria. Descaling is recommended annually in hard-water areas. The heating element and control board carry a 1-year warranty.

Q: What is included in the box?

Each boiler ships with a water faucet, 0.8 m water inlet hose, and 1.5 m power cable with appropriate connector. The support stand and filter cartridge are optional accessories sold separately. All units are packaged in a single carton box.
